The Huda Beauty Foundation has been a big topic in the beauty community for months now. Is it any good? Does it really cover that well? Does it last on the skin? Let’s find out!
Full coverage foundation
When people say it’s a full coverage foundation, they really mean it. The Huda Beauty Foundation is the most full coverage foundation I have ever tried, and I have tried the Remarcable from Marc Jacobs, the Lock It from Kat Von D and the Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme from Becca. None of them cover as much as the one from Huda Beauty. And is that a good thing? Yes and no. If you are looking for a full coverage foundation that really covers everything, then this is the foundation for you. But if you are looking for a foundation that looks like your skin but better, then this isn’t it. It’s too full coverage to even look like skin.
Does it even look natural?
To answer the question. No, it does not look natural. But if you are going to do looks that require a full coverage foundation, then this is just great. It looks like a mask on the face, but it looks more natural than any of the other full coverage foundations I have tried so far. So it’s both a good and a bad thing. The Huda Beauty Foundation is a nice foundation if you are going for that full coverage look. Otherwise you can use it as a concealer in the places you need to and you can even mix it with your moisturizer. That will give you some more moisture and make the foundation more light coverage and natural on the skin.
Is it worth the hype?
Even though the foundation is very full coverage and too much on the skin, I really liked the look of it. It felt heavy on the skin, but it really covered everything. I won’t use this foundation for events or for work because my skin just can’t breathe. But I will use it for looks and for filming because it looks amazing on camera. The primer on the other hand is my new favorite thing. It’s very hydrating and it’s just what I need in these cold days.
