It sounds dramatic and that’s only because it really makes a difference. Okay, I’m also kinda dramatic so don’t mind me. Tinting my brows is not something I had ever thought about before a Benefit Brow Bar opened in my Sephora store. One day the Sales Manager from Benefit asked me if she could tint and wax my brows because she didn’t like the look of my brows. I said of course and got in the seat. What I didn’t know is that I was in for a painful but amazing ride.

Hey guys! I want to show you an easy and simple way to tint your own eyebrows at home. It’s really not that hard and that’s why I want to show you how to do it, because it’s a thing that I do for myself every month that just makes me feel so great about myself. So I hope that I can make some of you feel the same 🙂

When it comes to packing it is very easy to overpack. That’s actually what I do every time I travel. Even if I have to go away for a few days only. But the more times you fail, the more you learn, right?

This weekend I’m in Hamburg with my boyfriend and I had to pack the least amount of makeup for a weekend that involves shopping, a lot of walking and a trip to a theatre.

Today I want to show you how to pack the perfect makeup bag. You will be able to look glam each and every day with these products but still have room in your suitcase for some shopping. Because that’s what we all want. At least that’s what I want when I go away….

The base is the most important for me, so here I’m actually bringing quite a few products. A good primer is always on my list and here I’m bringing my Backlight Priming Filter from Becca. It gives such a beautiful glow and it makes my makeup look amazing. For foundation I’m bringing my Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation Stick in the shade R230 and I’m only bringing this because I’m going to a theatre one night and I need some more coverage. I’m bringing my NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer in the shades “Chantilly” and “Vanilla”. This is my every day go-to base products. I often wear it without foundation and it looks amazing.

For bronzer and highlighter I’m bringing my Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette which has the most beautiful bronzer and golden highlight in. It’s all I need for a glow on the go. And of blush I’m bringing my Becca Mineral Blush in the shade Flowerchild. It gives such a natural look on the cheeks and I’m actually learning to love blush. Who would have thought that would ever happen?

This is normally where I overpack. But somehow I learned how to control myself and tell myself that I don’t need three eyeshadow palettes for a weekend away. I’m bringing my By Terry Ombre Blackstar Cream Eyeshadow Stick in the shade Bronze Moon which is the most beautiful shade. Then I’m bringing my Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in the shade Trooper. Who would I be if I didn’t bring this? For mascara I’m bringing my Velvet Noir mascara from Marc Jacobs. I have fallen even more in love with Marc Jacobs recently and I might have a haul coming your way soon.

For a natural lip I’m bringing my Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in the shade 02. It’s easy to apply and it just gives my lips a natural peachy shade. For a nude lip I’m bringing my favorite lipstick at the moment. It’s the Le Marc Lip Creme in the shade No Angel. The perfect nude that’s so comfortable on the lips. For the night I’m going to the theatre I’m going to wear my NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in the shade Mysterious Red which is actually one of Taylor Swifts favorite red-carpet red lipsticks. Just throwing that fun fact in for you. It’s the most amazing red that actually feels like nothing on the lips, it doesn’t bleed and it’s easy to apply. And did I mention that it’s Taylor Swift’s favorite as well?

As I’m writing this blogpost I can see that I totally forgot products for my eyebrows. Who even am I? Of course I will be bringing my trusty brow products from Benefit. I will bring my Precisely, My Brow Pencil in the shade 3 and my Ready, Set, Brow! clear brow gel. That will give me natural looking brows that will keep in place all day and night.

Sephora Pro Brushes have very fast become my favorite brushes (sharing the spot with Marc Jacobs) and I will only be bringing three brushes with me. The #31 Smokey Crease Brush for eyeshadow, the #57 Airbrush Concealer Brush for concealer (dah?) and the #49 Angled Brush for bronzer, blush and highlighter. The Angled Brush is actually also amazing for foundation because it gives such a natural look. Just another tip for you all.

All of my makeup fits perfectly in my makeup bag from Malene Birger and it goes straight in my handbag so I always have my makeup on me for touch ups. I actually feel proud of myself for being such a good packer. Last time I brought two makeup bags with me. This time it’s only one. I’m improving.

It’s all about bring the makeup that you know works well for you and that you love to wear. Because if you only bring the makeup that you love the most, you don’t need to bring unnecessary makeup. I hope that helps just a little bit.
